If you thought our POTUS was going to make sense today, you were smoking pot and crack while at the same time dropping acid. Obama's executive orders are just a bunch of bunk. I'm using a list compiled by Robert Laurie on Cain TV here. The gist of Obama's press conference today: My
children are more important than your children. My children deserve to
be protected by armed guards 24/7 and yours don't.
#1 Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require
federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal
background check system. Really, Obama? This is the first one? It's
already being done..... well, except in the case of Mexican Drug Lords,
Syrian and Libyan rebels and all.......
#2 Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent
states from making information available to the background check system. Okay, I can go with this one.
#3 Improve incentives for states to share
information with the background check system. Read: Bribe the states
with more money we have to borrow from China.
#4 Direct the Attorney General to review
categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure
dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks. Read: We'll okay
Mexican Drug Lords, Syrian and Libyan rebels, but we'll be sure the gun
prohibition list includes the following: TEA Party Members, Republicans,
Conservative ex-military individuals, and anyone we deem to be a danger
to the state.
#5 Propose rule making to give law enforcement the ability to run a
full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun. Aren't they already doing this? Need to check this out.
#6 Publish a letter from ATF to federally
licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks
for private sellers. Because calling the government officials is too
difficult to do without the aid of government officials.
#7 Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign. Wonder if he'll ask Dianne Feinstein to head this one up? We need more government campaigns because they've all worked out so well.
#8 Review safety standards for gun locks and
gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission). How many millions will
be wasted to find out that the gun locks that come with each weapon sold
actually <ahem> work!? Moron.
#9 Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require
federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal
investigations. Will they finally get to the bottom of Fast and Furious
because of this executive order!?
#10 Release a DOJ report analyzing information
on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law
enforcement. The question is, can they find them? They still have yet to
recover the Fast and Furious guns they gave to Mexican Drug Lords-- FnF
guns are being found at crimes scenes across Mexico.
#11 Nominate an ATF director. Will he nominate Eric Holder?
#12 Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations. Good idea, but why aren't law enforcement and first responders trained already? Did they assume they would never encounter a person with a gun?
#13 Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent
gun violence and prosecute gun crime. You mean, actually enforce current
gun laws and put criminals in jail? Will we also stop recidivism and
keep them in jail?
This
idea blows my mind-- does it blow your mind? Imagine actually enforcing
laws-- next they'll be talking about enforcing immigration laws! ** They mean enforcement with the exception of the ruling class. Wouldn't want to find out what happened with Fast and Furious.
#14 Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing
the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of
gun violence. Yo, Mr. President. It's already been done- get your
people to find the report and give you the wrong numbers. #waste of
money, moron.
#15 Direct the Attorney General to issue a
report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety
technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative
technologies. Right, Mr. President, get the man who hid behind your
Executive Privilege and has never given us answers about Fast and
Furious guns to lead this up. The American people trust him.
#16 Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does
not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
Clarify that Americans have a right to privacy and Obamacare can shove
the Bill of Rights up its and Obama's arse.
#17 Release a letter to health care providers
clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of
violence to law enforcement authorities. Mr. President, so we really
need YOU, the KING, to release a letter stating the obvious!? Thanks,
Captain obvious. #moronic
#18 Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers. Read: borrow more money from China to pay for this instead of asking private citizens (teachers, aides, etc) with concealed carry permits to help out.
#19 Develop model emergency response plans for
schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education. Four
words, Mr. President: Concealed Carry on campuses.
#20 Release a letter to state health officials
clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must
cover. Were any of the shooters on Medicaid!? Is Obama trying to say
people at the whim of government health care have more potential for
violence?
#21 Finalize regulations clarifying essential
health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges. Mr.
President, you extended the deadline for the exchanges because half the
states of this great nation have refused to set them up. What good will
this do if you don't get the exchanges set up?
#22 Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations. Does anyone in Obama's administration even know what parity is? You know the communists are all about being equal and all.....
#23 Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries
Sebelius and Duncan on mental health. What could possibly go wrong with
these idiots in charge? Will they force people to pay for mental health
exams without their consent?
