Raising Young Men Who Live the Gospel of Christ

"Virtue is not something simply lacking in the modern world. It is something many in the modern world actually resent." ~Dr. Edward Sri

Trying to raise Christian young men who LIVE the Gospel of Christ is hard in this fallen world-- so many people want to lead them astray. Not always on purpose, mind you...but like the quote earlier... virtue is laughed at, ridiculed and resented. Chastity includes the custody of one's eyes! We want our young men to respect women, not objectify them - and it is hard to teach in a culture where half-naked women walk around EVERYWHERE (including church!), are on billboards, in stores, on products and on TV & in movies. The abortion on demand/ birth control mentality teaches men to objectify their women, too. It teaches young men that they can do what they please whenever they want because *it* can be taken care of. Women become mere objects to be used for their own pleasure. Sometimes I just hate the world!

My youngest went on a retreat the Diocese puts on every year. Our church youth group took a few people. During a break, a chaperone took teenage girls and a few of the boys to the mall nearby and they went to <ahem> Victoria's Secret.  I have already alerted the pastor. This is not appropriate!

I don't think young teenage boys should be exposed to the soft porn in VC. Just my two cents.

Highlights of a convo on FB (the first and second paragraph were a status)- It was such a great conversation, that I wanted to share.

A friend said, "Amen" and I replied: It is so hard... I tell you... so hard..... there are too many people willing to lead our kids astray. Adults..... We just have to keep working and praying. I don't care if the world laughs at me/my family. I want my boys to turn into men of virtue. I get so depressed thinking about the progressive agenda.

K wrote:
Just make sure you don't forget that men objectified women LONG before birth control. Don't blame the birth control for the attitudes of men.

I replied:
Oh, K, I know.. but if you read what the Pope's wrote before BC was widely available-- they predicted everything that is happening now. The birth control mentality aids men in their objectification of women. It is not the only reason nor the only way...but is is a HUGE factor in our current culture crisis.

W wrote:
Women have been "objects" since the dawn of man. Just do the best you possibly can, and they'll show you how well you taught them. I see it in my sons now. Are they saints? Oh, heck no. But.....they know how to be a "true man" around women. And in regards to BC aiding men? Ummm, it works both ways. It also allows women to be "objectified". Please don't lay that much blame on a pill or the opposite sex. Women play the game too....with or without the "pill".

I replied with this link
http://www.ewtn.com/library/ENCYC/P6HUMANA.HTM and:
The Church called it-- said that BC would cause higher divorce rates, infidelity rates, STD rates, so forth and so on... and the statistics are there to support what the Church predicted. Couples who do not use contraception have less than a 5% chance of divorce compared to the average population of over 50%.PS- remember, I am raising boys-so this is written from the perspective of a mother of boys,W. Not saying that BC doesn't cause the same effect for women...This article says less than a 2% divorce rate for couples who do not contracept: http://nosoulleftbehind.wordpress.com/2007/12/28/the-link-between-contraception-and-divorce/

K wrote:
Considering the rampant immorality that has existed since the beginning of time, I'd hardly say that birth control is to blame, or has even aided in any decline. What it HAS done is allow, for example, married women to continue to have relations with their husbands without having to endure childbirth 10 or 12 times, which was common as recently as 100 years ago in this country.

I wrote:
Well, K, you are free to disagree Here's another article about the low divorce rates : http://canonlaw.info/a_contraceptionanddivorce.htm I'm a practicing Catholic, so bringing up having 10 or 12 children doesn't sway me to your side--I only wish we could have that many living. We've had 19 pregnancy losses.

K wrote:
Divorce rates increased because now, married women who are unhappy, can actually file for divorce. It's harder to file for divorce when you can't obtain credit in your own name, can be fired simply for being a woman, for getting married, or getting pregnant. Of course, divorce is higher now. That has to do with equal treatment under the law for women. 100 years ago, women just had to suffer, no matter how many times their husbands cheated on them, beat them, or came home drunk. As far as couples who do not use contraception having a lower divorce rate, I'd say that has more to do with religious convictions against both. Correlation is not causation.

I wrote:
Naw.. it's more like we are an instant gratification society-- It has nothing to do with that. People think they have to be happy 24/7 or something is wrong-- they take antidepressants and if it isn;t right, you leave to go find yourself. People live in a disposable society --and not that includes marriage.

Oddly enough... none of the couples we've known the last 25 plus years who use NFP (no contraception) have divorced. We know lots of practicing Catholics. We know plenty of couples who contracept who have divorced. Before Chris and I were married, I was in a Bible study group with older couples who were all practicing Catholics and had never used BC... none of them were or have gotten divorced. A few spouses have died -- old age, cancer...... It is pretty amazing.I know, right?! 3 minutes to make popcorn, seriously!? But we want INSTANT happiness and we have a society that tells us YOU are more important than a relationship with your spouse. It tells us your happiness is more important than temporary pain of working issues out.

The pill came out in the mid 30's. In the 40's, divorce rates were at about 14%. In the 50's, it was about 20% (could've been all of the women refusing to give up their jobs when the men came home from WWII....women's lib and all that fun stuff). When we hit the 70's, divorce rates skyrocketed to the high 40s, low 50s. If anything, I would explain it as liberalism in general.....a disposable society with no personal accountability. And feminists ate it up. In short, I blame my parent's generation....born in the late 40's, early 50's, grew up in the 60's, early 70's. Also, that is when public schools started to get taken over by liberals, especially upper academia. It's a vicious cycle......but not caused by one pill or BC in general. If you look at in this way, and throw in the feminists, one could probably state that it's women's fault for the higher divorce rates....not men. Purely hypothetical, but..........

I wrote:
absolutely-- the free love of the 60s was made possible by the pill-- the pill aided the liberal agenda. Maybe I can get a priest or two to post since they might be better at explaining? The pill aided the moral decay of society-- I don't think anyone is saying it is the ONLY thing. Abortion is one thing... the attack on traditional marriage, etc, etc....

W wrote:
Why did it take 40 years for the divorce rates to hit and then plateau at around 50%? Considering all of the other forms of BC available, logic would dictate that the divorce rates would keep climbing higher, but they haven't. ANd it's been 40 years at around that rate. Why didn't divorce rates spike in the late 30's or early 40's and just keep climbing? Something else is afoot.

 I wrote:
I also posted an article where a tribunal (Catholic) looked and found most couples coming for annulments were using contraception --very few NFP users ..... The pill came available in 1960, right? What pill came out in the 1930s? http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/health/2010-05-07-1Apill07_CV_N.htm This is an article from 2010 -- the 50th anniversary of the pill.  Up until the 1930s- all denominations were opposed to artificial birth control, but Margaret Sanger and her organization changed that.

F wrote: I'll just place my toe in the turgid waters here.... it all depends on where one gets their facts. Pattie has shown you where she got hers. Can you post where you got yours? There were and are many causative factors to be discussed, but birth control opened Pandora's box even more than the sliver that showed. We can thank Margaret Sanger for that. She had her own agenda, and I humbly suggest you look into her motivations. Once birth control came on the scene, many thought it was a boon to women. Here's the issue. Using a wrong to right a wrong is still wrong, if you follow me. Birth control is just that - wrong. Then we have the media. Think back to the 50s and 60s. Every "perfect" family had two parents, and two children, one of each. Don't forget the twin beds. That came from the contraceptive mentality that had been creeping through the back alleyways since Sanger's day (actually she was still alive then and going on talk shows). So...everyone either consciously or unconsciously wants to emulate the "perfect Hollywood family" and doctors began receiving "incentives" to share with their patients the magic pill that would ease their worries about family size, finances, etc. Once that started making the rounds, and the "sexual revolution" got underway with the beatniks and hippy kids of the 60s, the pill was the perfect panacea for this "if it feels good do it" subculture. Then, they get older. They get married (or not). They have kids, but everyone is having only two (that's what TV tells them), and everyone is on the pill, and how dare the Church tell them how many kids to have!! Priests aren't even married, how could they possibly know how hard it is..blah blah blah! It's disobedience. Pure and simple. We all think we know better than God. Contracepting couples have a 50% or greater divorce rate, "Catholic" contracepting couples are commensurate with that level. Non-contracepting couples, as Pattie has shown, have a much, much lower divorce rate. Proof's in the pudding, if you ask me. And back to the original issue - if people would dress modestly, then the inclination to sin would be much less. Notice I said less, not gone. Men are visual creatures, where as women are emotive. There's an old saying, "Men give love to get sex, women give sex to get love." If women want love, they must take care to not objectify and sexualize themselves to men. Men, also, must give women respect by guarding their eyes and guarding the reputation of those women by not giving in to the visual cues they see everywhere. If I might add an economic note here? We have contracepted our society into bankrupcy. We have too many retiring workers and have contracepted away a new crew of workers. We now have an inverted pyramid, and that is why social security is crumbling. If you have time or inclination, I suggest you watch Demographic Timebomb and Demographic Winter.

Ma wrote:   Birth control is one aspect if you look at the big picture BUT I can tell you where BC has aided in our downfall. First it has made it easy to forget that sex is for reproduction. That is it's purpose. The fact that children came from sex helped people think about who they laid with and when. Usually with a spouse after marriage. As for women being able to have relations with their husband, that can still happen without child birth or BC but it takes communication between man and wife and commitment of both of them instead of just between a woman and her doctor. Birth control is responsible for increase in the spread of promiscuity for the first reason I listed, which also led to the increase in the spread of disease. The whole "if it feels good do it" attitude came from the lack of natural consequence of sex and the sexualization of women has been made more convenient and acceptable due to that attitude. Women and men are to blame for the attitudes and actions. Both want the immediate satisfaction of sex now marriage later.
I do not understand how anyone can not see the connection. It is as clear as day.

One more thing about the BC used by married women remark - as we all know it isn't just married women using it so they can have relations with their husband without worrying about children so that argument holds very little water anyway even if you take religion out of the equation.

Further the concept of children being a burden to be put off has made the whole concept of abortion easier to swallow.

So to recap. No birth control by itself has not caused the downfall of society BUT it sure has not helped either.

And I didn't even go into the horrible effects it has had and remains to have on women's health

Maxine just said everything I wanted to say but couldn't find the words. You are awesome, Maxine. What we teach our boys about birth control? I ask them if they want the women they love and marry to have an increased risk of cancer, blood clots, strokes and other health issues just so that they can have sex whenever they want. Hardly seems worth the risk to me-- if you love your wife, why would you want to put her health at risk? Again, I only have boys, so I'm coming from teaching boys. I don;t get all this organic food- no pesticides or hormones, but then we pump our women full of them. crazy!

I have girls and boys... it is a concern to me either way... and I do let my kids about age 12 and up listen to Pam Stensels discussions about sex and abstinence. I recently discussed the topic with my 16, 12 and within ear shot of my 9 yr old. I was having a difficult time getting them to listen... finally I said, ok, maybe we are not ready for this, however I'll have one more statement. (Mind you we had already discussed how that is one gift you can give JUST ONCE... etc.) And I asked them. If their friend across the street was going to give them a piece of gum... would they want it to be the gum that everyone else had chewed already - even if it had been cleaned, or would they want a new piece still in the package? Think about it... with the spread of sexually transmitted diseases etc, the gum can only get so clean, and so can your body once you've given it away because you never REALLY know where someone else has trod... I told them that if they never thought about another thing I said that in the heat of the moment, when their hormones were overtaking their brains THAT was the one thing I wanted them to think of.

K, are their not people of equal religious conviction that use contraception? What causes them to have a 50% plus divorce rate, too? It is not merely a matter of religious conviction- now that we have equal treatment under the law. While you are saying correlation is not causation, I believe you are looking at the wrong variables. Or are you trying to say that those of us who do not use contraception have more religious conviction? I think there is a correlation between the use of birth control and divorce--Last stat of the night-- did you know the divorce rate among couples who lose a child is 85% and higher? Couples whose kids have chronic, life-threatening illnesses have a divorce rate over 80%? We are really beating the odds......... so there are many factors in divorce....

K wrote:
I would argue that those of any religion who avoid artificial birth control for religious reasons are more likely to also avoid divorce for the same religious reasons. The correlation between birth control usage and divorce rates has intensity and type of religious belief as the correlating factor. This is true for the religions that teach both are wrong. The belief system affects both BC usage and divorce. The BC usage by itself does not cause the divorce. Most married couples remain married as the divorce rate peaked at a little under 50% a few years ago.

True, and now in the majority of "mainstream Protestant denominations", birth control and abortion aren't even discussed. In the documentaries I mentioned, the three groups who are having babies are the Orthodox Jews, Muslims, and traditional Catholics and fundamentalist Protestants. Yes, religion has something to do with the choice not to contracept, but there are many who do not contracept due to health concerns or a more "natural" approach.

and if we believe that the Catholic Church is the True Faith, we have to believe that the Teachings are what God wants us to follow. So we follow them, out of obedience, not out of personal opinion. That's a part of surrendering to God's Will and trusting in His guidance. And, I personally think contraception would aid in infidelity. Women and men are more likely to cheat if they think they can get away with it. Contraception reduces the chance of a pregnancy. I don't see what good contraception can do. Catholics are allowed to space their children (even indefinitely) with NFP. And that's out of the catechism.

Do you think we notice we are bringing home $400 less a month because of these increases and FICA increases? Do you think the extra $900 we sent to Uncle Sam for 2012 taxes was noticed after the government already took most of hubby's bonus already?

Death by "Gun Control"

If you are looking for information on how gun control kills people, there is a book available by that title. You can find information on the book and lots of information, including a chart here.

Truth They Cannot Refute
Death by Gun Control delivers the essential - and gut wrenching -- truth that the anti-self defense "gun control" advocates never try to refute. They simply cannot refute the facts or the formula.
Here's the Formula: Hatred + Government + Disarmed Civilians = Genocide
What makes the argument so powerful? Two factors. First, it makes common sense: unarmed defenseless people have no hope against armed aggressors. Second, it states the historical truth: evil governments did wipe out 170,000,000 innocent non-military lives in the 20th Century alone.
Using the facts in Death by Gun Control, you can take down the enemies of the Bill of Rights. The rights-destroyers have no answers to these facts. They have no excuses for their killer ideas.
JPFO's work has already borne fruit. John R. Bolton, an under-Secretary of State for the United States, this year urged the United Nations to recognize how an "oppressed non-state group defending itself from a genocidal government" will need ready access to firearms. Mr. Bolton might have been the first U.S. official in modern history to have argued to the UN that private citizens might need to be armed against their own killer governments.
Paul Harvey, the world-renowned and much admired radio commentator, last year reportedly broadcast the JPFO-produced facts linking "gun control" to the genocide of millions of unarmed civilians. Country by country, Mr. Harvey counted the murdered victims of civilian disarmament policies.
Our new book could inspire other opinion-makers to join the chorus. Chapters in the book teach about:
  • The essential meaning of "gun control"
  • The Genocide Formula
  • The laws and policies that led to mega murder in Cambodia, China, Nazi Germany, Guatemala, Rwanda, Ottoman Turkey, Uganda, USSR
  • Zimbabwe's land invasions and firearms confiscations
  • Soaring crime in Britain after gun prohibition
  • Violence and police state polices in Japan
  • The right and duty of armed self-defense in Judaism and both Protestant and Catholic Christianity
  • Racist roots of "gun control" in America
  • The United Nations program to disarm civilians worldwide
  • Police state polices that condition Americans to accept victim disarmament.

Demonstration at Burr's Office Tuesday!

DEMONSTRATION AT BURR'S OFFICE:

On Tuesday, April 16 at 10:00 AM, GRNC will be holding a demonstration at Senator Richard Burr's district office in Winston-Salem to deliver the message that his sellout by voting for S. 659 will not be tolerated, and that if he votes for the Toomey-Manchin "compromise" described below, we will work to remove him from office. As always, please "dress for the press" -- no offensive signs or clothing. Please note that firearms at demonstrations are prohibited by law. Suggested themes for signs: "Richard Burr: 2nd Amendment Sellout?" and "Burr: Vote 'NO' on Toomey-Manchin". Please RSVP with number of people attending to: Volunteer@GRNC.org Yes, it's a work day: BE THERE ANYWAY!

Burr's office is at:  2000 West 1st St.,  Suite 508,  Winston-Salem, NC 27104. BRING LOTS OF FRIENDS! It you live too far away from this office, visit other district offices, which can be found at:  http://www.burr.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Contact.Home

HOW DID RICHARD BURR SELL US OUT?

On Thursday, both Senators Richard Burr (R) and Kay Hagan (D) sold out gun owners by voting for the "motion to proceed" which will bring "universal gun registration" bill S. 649 to the Senate floor for debate this Tuesday. Hagan has been doing her best to camouflage her stance on the issue, while Burr had previously said he would support the Rand Paul filibuster, before switching sides and voting to proceed. Burr's claims that he did so only when promised an open amendment process ring false: The most certain way to kill the bill would have been to deny it a floor vote.

'See a shrink, lose your guns'

Sen. Harry Reid's original version of S. 649 would criminalize a huge array of lawful behaviors such as loaning a gun to your mother, loaning a gun to a friend to hunt, or even leaving one at home with your spouse for more than 7 days.

The first amendment to be offered, on Tuesday, is the "compromise" worked out by Sens. Pat Toomey (R-PA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV). Although you're being told it is "better" because it protections for gun owners, those "protections" have holes you could drive a truck through.

As is invariably the case, this "compromise" defines a process in which you lose slightly less than under the original proposal, but you still lose! Worse, the Toomey-Manchin measure described by  Gun Owners of America as "See a shrink, lose your guns" is a very real threat.

Says "US News & World Report": "Toomey and Manchin's legislation clarifies that doctors can enter mental health records into the national background check system without it being a violation of privacy laws."

Similar measure triggers confiscations in NY

Thanks to the vagueness of Title 18 of the US Code of Regulations, a single doctor's report could potentially trigger the loss of your gun rights without any type of hearing or due process. If you want to see how that works, check New York State, which recently adopted a similar proposal. As reported by Fox News and others, authorities have begun confiscating guns from lawful gun owners -- in some cases, even the wrong gun owners.

Day 100 Medical Spending Update

These are our totals as of last Wednesday. Still more bills pending.

Total out of pocket medical billed so far in 2013: $5,844.35. Paid in 2013 for 2012: $1,253.21. Still owe for 2012: $1,227.27. And..... only $2, 184.56 goes toward our OOP of $7,500. Ask me how happy we are that our premiums and taxes have gone up making it harder to pay for our boys' medical bills. Ask me how happy we are that our flex limit has dropped and we can't deduct as many medical bills from taxes this year. You might be rich and not notice.... we, however, are not rich. The $1,528 per year premium increase & $400 a month decrease in take home pay are noticed by this family. Obama and the Democratic Party SUCK.

Here's a break down of 2013 medical bills:

Prescription co-pays: $2,173.45
OTC Mito cocktail: $334.34
Urinary catheters: $351.53
Dental: $1,152.00
Doctor visits: $1,314.00
MRI: $133.17
Xray: $339.27
PT/OT: $25.57
Labs: $21.02
**Still waiting on several bills to arrive

Thanks to Obama, life sucks.Need to pay medical bills.... BUT Higher taxes means less money to pay medical bills. Higher premiums means less money to pay medical bills. Higher co-pays means that with less money to pay medical bills, we are screwed. Higher OOPs and deductibles means our medical expenses increase at a time we have less money to pay for these things. We have bills rolling in and we're bringing in $400 less a month and the decreased flex spending (a big tax increase) means we just have to let them sit... we know Ss oral surgery will cost us $1,450 out of pocket...... we just sent $900 to the government for taxes and don't know where the money for his surgery will come from...that $900 would have been a good start. At least CCHMC will bill us for the 2K we'll owe for each kid for their bone marrow biopsies-- tack it on to the $1,500 we still owe from last year... then there's the arm surgery J needs.... another upcoming MRI and lots and lots of doctor appointments..... Obama sucks. Our lives are so much worse off now than 4 years ago....and I am sure by the end of his next term, we'll be totally screwed and bankrupt. I've never been so angry with a president or the entire Democratic Party in my entire life. Their policies are a personal attack on my family-- and they purport to care. My ass. They don't care about Js kidneys having hydronephrosis and the fact that they jacked up the co-pay for the med that protects his kidneys over 400% from $131 to $495. Every day, I find myself becoming angrier and angrier-- more about the medical bills we can't pay than the dumbasses who slash my tire, key my care, flip me off and damage our signs here at home. Obama is the antithesis to hope.

A Parent's Nightmare

Liberals won't care, but I share anyway. Imagine you have 4 surgical procedures coming up for your kids and you still owe money from 16 years of raising chronically ill kids. Your husband gets a bonus from work, the government takes most of it and then you have to send an extra $900 in taxes to the government for 2012. Your pay in 2013 has been decreased by $400 a month because of FICA and increased insurance premiums, but your medical costs are skyrocketing at the same time. Your flex spending account has been cut in half, another huge tax increase and the government has also decreased the amount of medical you can deduct from your taxes.

You've just stepped into my life. On June 3, we have to have $1,450 to pay for an oral surgery my son needs. The $900 we had to send to the government would have been a good start toward paying that. We have 2 bone marrow biopsies coming up in June that will cost about $2,000 each and we have a surgery on an arm for a genetic defect. We have another MRI and many more appointments coming up. The copay for the medication protecting my son's kidneys is now $495. We found out Monday he has a cyst on his right kidney (not a big deal) and that he has hydronephrosis. He has to have the medication, folks.

Two of my boys would like to go on a mission trip with our church youth group. They have to raise $300 each if they want to go.

I wanted to pay a few medical bills to local doctors and it turned into a fight with hubby. Because..... he wants to make sure we can come up with $1,450 for the first surgery on the list.  But what are we supposed to do? Ignore the medical bills? At one point I told him I was angry that he sent the $900 to the government..... that is money we could be using to pay for our own children's medical bills and for their medications. The problem is that the government will steal your money no matter what-- if you don;t give it *freely* they will rape you anyway and freeze your assets.

No liberal has ever been able to tall me why we are evil because we want to keep more of our own money to pay for our own children's medical bills. I wish that they could put themselves in our shoes for a while and know what it is like to look at your children and KNOW that you cannot afford to pay for their medical care. We do not qualify for any assistance from government or non-profits. We've tried.

We are screwed and Obama sucks. He is a lying scum bag, who along with the Democratic Party, rammed through the worst piece of crap piece of legislation in the history of the nation -- against the will of the American people. We are worse off now than 4 years ago and will likely be bankrupt before Barack Hussein Obama gets out of office. I invite liberals to come explain to my children why we are going bankrupt and why they may not be able to have the surgeries they need.

A Liberal Slashed My Tire

I am behind on my blog posts. I have yet to post our DC photos! On Good Friday, our tire was slashed in the parking lot of a Catholic Church. When my husband took the tire in, the guy said to him,"Somebody hates you." My hubby replied,"No, it's my wife!" Below is a picture of my slashed tire. Since the incident, I added a few more bumper stickers. Just to tweak the liberals a bit more.

I have so many stories about being flipped off by liberals. I just laugh at the intolerant left. It makes them even angrier!

Photo ID Hearings Today in Raleigh

I'm going to try something new.... I'm going to cut and paste my Tweets and FB statuses during the hearings.

  • It's great to see such a great crowd in support of Photo ID!
  •  133 people signed up to speak. 3 min time limit. Gonna be a long one, especially if its like other hearings where a certain side ignores the time limit.
  •  first speaker talking about BOE not really doing a good job with the people who voted several times........ And now about DAs who refuse to prosecute voter felonies.
  •  surprisingly, over by the press they have the people opposing photo ID - coincidence!?
  •  Lady speaking now brings up 2nd Amendment rights and how one must show ID to purchase firearm. Good point.
  •  I doubt it, too. They had press passes on the seats and surrounded by the other side. I looked at them all an said,"It figures!" Ha ha ha. You know how shy I am
  •  Current speaker is discussing college students- if they can successfully navigate the registration process and get a student ID, they can get figure out how to get an ID to vote. Also mentioned certain pain meds cannot be picked up at the pharmacy without a photo ID
  • This next speaker brings up trying to purchase a gift card at Starbucks using a credit card. He had to show photo ID to use his credit card.
  • We have a great group in support - all ethnic backgrounds.
  • This current speaker is listing cases of voter fraud currently being investigated in NC and let me tell you, the list is long!!!!!!!
  • Wow - she is listing the votes that were double counted because of the fraud!!!! True the vote ! Ensure the integrity of the ballot box!
  • She and others want a tougher bill!! Yes! No loopholes for voter fraud. I.e. remove employee IDs and school IDs as valid forms of IDs to vote---
  •  Next speaker from a research group. Going through voter fraud cases. Nonpartisan group- doesn't look at gender, race or party affiliation. 400 voters charged with voter fraud between 2004-2009 NONE WERE PROSECUTED!!!!
  •  Oh now we have a civil rights chick speaking. She thinks people are too stupid to get IDs. I love that these people think people are stupid.
  •  Now she's talking about someone who marched with MLK Jr. Wow.
  • Next guy is talking about illegal alien who have been caught voting. He refuted what lib chick said. Said getting IDs not hard.
  •  This guy is rocking it. He's talking about the race card not being a valid argument! May have transcript on website. He's used the word liberals many times! He said,"conservatives support photo ID and liberals oppose it for the same reason!" Rock on!!!! Yep. Liberals cheat to win elections - they know it, we know and the state knows it. He said to go to www.isupportvoterid.com
  •  Man who had observed the polls in Halifax county is talking about the voter fraud. He talks of people who come and have to guess their addresses. He said,"Voter ID would help that poor soul remember their address." Also speaking of the mentally disabled who are being brought to the polls by liberals to vote and speaks of a man whose daughter was brought to vote and she didn't know the difference between Mickey Mouse, BHO or Romney "
  •  Another lady who volunteered as poll observer recalling the number of people who did not remember/know their address. An older lady came to the table and asked,"Do I have to register to vote in every county we go to?" She also says elections should be free from intimidation and fear. Voter ID makes it easier. She suggests adding photos to the registration cards we already receive an don't even have to present to vote
  •  Pediatrician now speaking. She appreciates that most Americans are honest, but that we need voter ID to keep the temptation to commit voter fraud away. She is going over a case in Durham county. Man died in 2002 and he voted in 2003, 04, twice in 2008 and twice in 2012. Last three times by absentee ballot (Cardoza- is the name) every fraudulent vote undoes an honest vote.
  •  Another man going over cases of one stop voting fraud. A woman voted at 12 early voting locations.
  •  Another voter went to vote, but someone had already stolen her vote !
  • 63 fraudulent votes in his county and one of the commissioners races was won by only 18 votes. Voter fraud definitely changed the outcome of the election!
  •  400 voters charged with voter fraud from 2004-2009 and NONE OF THEM HAS BEEN PROSECUTED!!!!!! Why aren't the DAs prosecuting these crimes!?
  •  Woo! The man speaking now just said that liberals bus people to rallies and pay for meals, that it would be cheaper to bus them somewhere to get IDs. Then told of the time his wife was critically ill and showed up in the ER- she could barely hold her head up, she was so sick. They would not treat her until she showed ID.
  •  Oh brother. Cray- cray speaking. ID says you are guilty until proven innocent - so says she. Right. Crack smoker! I need ID to get Sudafed, insurance, medical treatment, buy a house.......
  • Got to speaker number 80 something before we got to one guy who makes no sense at all. What Evah.
  • Ha ha ha. This guy got up to the mic and said,"Hello, I'm Hugo Chavez." Bwahahahaha How do you know w/o ID!?
  •  Man talking about Democrat poll observers who went through rolls near the end of the day and wrote names and addresses down in about a 15 min time span, then he saw them calling on cell phones. In 15-20 min, people started showing up with pieces of paper with things scribbled on it to vote - obviously reading info off paper. He brought it to the attention of the chief judge and nothing was done. Care to guess the party affiliation of chief judge?
  •  Man speaking said he needed ID to get flu shots. Then he said he doesn't hear democrats complaining about that. Then asked,"Is that because dead people don't need flu shots and live people don't want to get them twice?"
  •  This speaker just said that conservatives say #voterfraud 'only now a prob bec president a man of color'. Idiot! #HB589
  •
